Pre-Japan

Embarking on your transformative journey with ReSight begins with a simple yet comprehensive application process. Here’s how you can turn your vision of experiencing Japan into an exciting reality:

Step 2: Bring Your Vision to Us

Application Submission: Fill out the online application form on the ReSight website, detailing your personal and academic information, and share with us your vision for your journey in Japan.
Document Upload: Depending on your selected program, you may need to submit additional documents such as a CV or statement of purpose, to help us better understand your goals.

Step 3: Personalized Consultation

Understanding Your Vision: After your application is reviewed, our team will arrange a consultation call. This step is crucial for us to grasp your aspirations and for you to understand how ReSight can transform them into reality.
Interview for Internships: If you’re applying for the Internship Experience Program, we’ll conduct an interview to find the perfect company match for you, aligning with your professional vision.

Step 4: Confirmation and Commitment

Acceptance and Deposit: Once accepted, you’ll receive an official offer from ReSight. Secure your spot and a step closer to Japan by paying the deposit.
Pre-Departure Orientation: Engage in our pre-departure sessions to prepare for your transition to Japan, covering cultural nuances, logistical details, and more.

Step 5: Journey to Japan

Final Preparations: Finalize your travel plans and complete any remaining program payments.
Welcome to Your New Reality: Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted by ReSight's team and given an on-site orientation, marking the beginning of your envisioned journey in Japan.

ReSite

Upon arrival in Japan, the "ReSite" phase begins. This is where your vision starts to take shape in the real world. This is the phase where you immerse yourself in the chosen program, experiencing Japan's culture, professional environment, or a tailored combination of both.

In the "ReSite" phase, regardless of the program you choose, you’re not just observing but actively participating and engaging in experiences that are shaping your understanding of Japan and your place within it. This phase is crucial in making your journey with ReSight a transformational one, both personally and professionally.

ReCite

Returning home, your journey with ReSight becomes a treasure trove of memories and lessons – to you and those around you. You're not just reciting stories; you're sharing a part of your transformed self. Whether it's a newfound interest in Japanese culture, a desire to return, or the skills and confidence you've gained, this phase is about carrying a piece of Japan with you, inspiring others with your journey, and dreaming about your next big adventure.

Withdrawal

We understand that plans can change.

If you need to withdraw from a program, please notify us as soon as possible. Our withdrawal policy includes a timeline for refunds, which typically decreases as the program start date approaches. We aim to be as accommodating as possible while respecting the commitments made to our partners and staff.

Before Program Start Date:

More than 90 days: Full refund minus a non-refundable deposit and administrative fee.
60-90 days: 75% refund of the total program fee, excluding non-refundable deposit and administrative fee.
30-59 days: 50% refund of the total program fee, excluding non-refundable deposit and administrative fee.
Less than 30 days: 25% refund of the total program fee, excluding non-refundable deposit and administrative fee.

After Program Start Date:

During the first week: 10% refund of the total program fee, only in the case of extenuating circumstances such as a medical emergency or family crisis.
After the first week: No refund available.

Notes:

Non-refundable Deposit: A deposit equating to 20% of the program cost is required to secure your spot. This deposit is non-refundable and covers initial administrative and arrangement costs.
Administrative Fee: An administrative fee of $150 may be retained from any refund to cover processing and program preparation costs incurred.
Written Notice: All withdrawals must be communicated in writing and received by ReSight within the specified timeline for refunds.
Extenuating Circumstances: Exceptions to the refund policy may be considered on a case-by-case basis for extenuating circumstances. Documentation may be required.
